Compound Words Writing

Students had a lesson on compound words, then they had to write a paragraph using compound words to show what they had learned. 

Slope

Students figured out the slope of objects that are in their surroundings. 

Safe Cooking

Freedom

After a reading of the Emancipation Proclamation to the entire school, students in study skills discussed what freedom meant to them.  They were then asked to draw a picture of their definition of freedom.

Talking Microwave

This microwave talks to the visually impaired and allows them to be able to function in the kitchen more independently.  This was viewed by students who attended the ENVISION Conference in Ashland, KY at KEDC.
